Doing the right thing

Is it good or is it bad... when you find out something and realise that there is possibly something wrong that will happen, you make it a point to let the ones who will be affected know about it.

supposed to be a good thing, right? But not when the listeners react adversely to it and then begin reproaching themselves with negative remarks.
